Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! It’s been a while since I last updated. Life continues to have its hectic moments! to say the least! I had, and will have, some great things coming up that I wanted to share with you all.
- PersonaLand’s exhibition Rivers, Lakes, Oceans is still ongoing, which features my work Dream Pond. Go and check it out! A few of the featured artists (including me) and Stewart Wilson (PersonaLand’s creator) got together for an artist talk to discuss our works of art. You can view the artist talk (and see my awkward self) here.
- I will be participating in PersonaLand’s upcoming exhibition Solitude, which will start on November 2nd. Artwork is still being accepted – there are no submission fees, just optional donations. You can learn more here!
- I finished my commission for the Georgiaville Beach Memorial! To recap, they were looking for a logo for their social media channels. You can check out the logo on my Commissioned Works page, under Social Media Design. You can check out their Facebook page to learn more about the memorial and their fundraiser to raise funds for bricks to engrave the names of those lost at Georgiaville Pond.
- Back in January, I submitted artwork to No Name Collective Gallery for their Challenge 24 – artists are selected each month and are featured in their art magazine at the beginning of the following year. I was selected as a winner Mfor the challenge for January 2024! You can see the announcement here. More to come on this.
- Claudio Giulianelli, renowned art curator and owner/president of Mega Art Gallery in Corchiano, Italy, did a wonderful review of my work Old Dutch Reformed Church. You can watch the review here.
- I will be participating in an upcoming exhibition being curated by the Pearview Gallery called Get Spooked! 2024. The exhibition begins October 14th, and artwork is still being accepted. You can learn more here (go to “Future Exhibitions” section).
- I’ve added a new work to my Digital Art portfolio – check it out! It is called Coral and is available to purchase as a print on ArtPal and Fine Art America. The link can be found here.
- I will be participating in Mural Mosaic’s Global Roots project, and painting a tile for the mural! The theme for the 2025 mural is “America Nature’s Twilight.” You can learn more about the project here. Once I get the materials, I will post updates on my Trello Workspace.
- I am slowly revamping my website, so you may notice a few changes as you browse through! I am also doing an overhaul of the website for The Ghastly Historian, which is keeping me pretty busy.
I have a few artworks in progress, which has been slow as of late due to other commitments. As always, feel free to check my Trello workspace to see what I’m working on at any time.
