New Artwork and Updates!

It’s been a while! As I mentioned in my last blog post, I’ve been busy with my WAABEL art residency and doing some miscellaneous art projects. I haven’t done as much art this year, but I was quite accomplished this weekend. I wanted to share, and also provide some updates on some great upcoming events/projects!

I’ve added some new works to my Fine Art and Digital Art portfolios – check them out! Some of them I’ve hung on to for a little while, debating on whether to post them due to their political nature. However, I have decided to post them, since, ultimately, art should not be censored. They are posted on my portfolios, and also on my Series page. These will not not available for purchase, and will not be posted on social media.

Speaking of series, it seems that my art creation has been slowly restarting again! I’m working on my Spiritualism series again. My newest work, 21st Century Ectoplasm, is the newest in the series. I’m working on another acrylic piece for it, which should be done in the next few weeks. You can check in on my progress by looking at my Trello workspace.

I’ve participated in a few cool things, and have a few cool things coming up, so I wanted to list them off to keep you all informed:

Cool Things I’ve Done:

• My work is now available on ArtMajeur! You can purchase my work as prints or digital licenses. Visit my Prints page for more info.
• Administrative issues were worked out with Influx Gallery, and I am active in their Elysian exhibition. The exhibition is currently ongoing, and ends 7/1/2025. My work Dream Pond is part of the exhibition. You can check it out here.
• There was a virtual gathering of artists who participated in Personaland’s Solitude exhibition from November 2024, and I was part of it. The video was published, and you can check it out here! I talk about my work Sky over Richmond, VA between 2:34-3:21.
• I collaborated with a stranger artist in February, and created a digital abstract piece called Arcadia (see image below). It was featured in Personaland’s Strangers 2 exhibition, which was published on March 7. You can check it out here.

• There was a virtual gathering of artists for the Strangers 2 exhibition, which was held earlier this month. I discuss my involvement in the work Arcadia. You can check it out here (5:05-5:47).
• I donated an artwork to Personaland’s upcoming Spring Forward Fundraiser, for their art auction. Information on the event is in the flyer below – it is a hybrid event, so anyone can join!

Cool Things I Will Be Doing:

• I am a member of a LinkedIn group called Artflow Alliance Insider, and they are hosting a 60-day virtual exhibition for its members, which I will be participating in, starting on May 1st. More info coming as I receive it!
• I will be participating in a 30-day virtual exhibition with The Holy Art Gallery, starting on May 17th. My video art piece Transfiguration will be featured. More info to come!
• I am SO EXCITED to be collaborating with Tapiial Virtual on a solo exhibition with my cemetery photography! The show will start on May 31st, and more information will be forthcoming.
• I am working on a written piece for an online blog called The Heroine’s Journey, where female creatives are highlighted and showcased. I am excited to be alongside some fabulous persons in the same industry.
• I have been working with The Ghastly Historian on an upcoming video project of theirs (I have worked with them in the past on other projects, and maintain their website). Check out their site for the release of their latest video, coming by the end of the month!
