It seems that AI-generated art is a growing trend. Admittedly, that has made me curious as to the difficulty of creating such art. From my limited experience, it appears a few prompts will create what one is looking for. Specifics are definitely helpful depending on what you’re looking for as an end result.
I did create a few test images through Microsoft Designer’s Image Creator just to see what would pop out. While the images were cute and generally what I was looking for, I couldn’t get over the impersonal nature of it. In fact, according to the Academy of Animated Art, 74% of artists believe that AI-generated art is unethical, with 76% of the American population believing it shouldn’t be categorized as art (source link).
However, there was one image that I thought was too cute to pass up, and thought would make a great product on my artist shops. It is entitled Even Monsters Need Cuddles and you can check it out on my Digital Art portfolio page. Visit my artist shops (links can be found here) and check out the wide variety of products that feature this design, in addition to my other designs!
Please note that my portfolio is not and will not be trending towards AI-generated work. This one piece is an exception.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year – keep checking back for details on the “Perpetual” Exhibition and more fun stuff in 2024!
